During low tide, at the far end of Puerto Cayo’s beach, you can find the “Piedreras.” These are ancient lava flows worn down by wave action with older, sea rocks on top of them. It doesn’t look very interesting until you look underneath the rocks. There you will find some nature’s most beautiful & interesting small creatures. But just like so many things in life, you must take the time to slowly turn over the rocks.
