From June to October the humpback whales travel along the Humbolt current just off the coast of the beach where I live. Some days, driving down the coast, Ruta del Spondylus, its hard to keep your eyes on the road, because you can see the whales playing and jumping. Its a special blessing to live so close to these magnificent creatures. I always want to make them feel WHALEcome.
